With dad attending the “UrineTown” musical satire produced by ACT Theatre & 5th Avenue Theatre. Fun talented cast & so many hilarious campy gags. I wasn’t sure if the show was for/against social services given the paradoxical ending. #urine
“School of Rock the Musical” w/ Seattle Theatre Group. Talented kid performers but my least favorite Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. Not a fan of shows w/ lots of kids esp when the message is they know better than sensible adults.
“The Drowsy Chaperone” – a love letter parody of musicals. The narrator was a sad glimpse into my future ?. Like many Shoreline Community College Theater shows, I was pleasantly surprised by the caliber of this production.
Sold out “Friends! – The Musical Parody” tour w/ Seattle Theatre Group. Venue was general admission ? & too casual/grungy. Why not Paramount Theatre? Hilarious uncanny impersonations (esp Rachael).
Chamber musical of “Melancholy Play” w/ Undergraduate Theatre Society at UW. Awful script but promising actors. Annoyingly quirky. Almond references were maddening until I realized being an almond may be symbolic for being nuts. #Childish #SocialContract
