Musicals, Plays, Concerts, Oh My! (and other Performing Arts)
Took the ferry to see the musical [title of show]. Set and props were minimal, but this allowed the audience to fully appreciate the actors’ talent and the novel/brilliant script. Probably the funniest musical I’ve seen.
Watched the nearly sold-out play Vietgone. Cleverly written and brilliantly executed. Even the integrated rap (not my favorite genre) segments weren’t half bad. Standing ovation from me!
Saw the play A Raisin in the Sun. Dialogue and plot was like watching paint dry. Nice theater though.
