Teenage Dick – Play – Seattle Repertory Theater

“Teenage Dick” play at Seattle Rep. Shakespeare’s disabled Richard III goes to high school. Bits of early English cleverly snuck into modern dialogue w/ f-bombs. Love when stories take dark turns like this did. Reminiscent of “the Politician” TV show.

First Date – Musical – SecondStory Repertory Theatre

Pleasantly surprised to find one of my favorite shows “First Date” at SecondStory Repertory Theatre. Sad they ommited the Jewish song though. #musical #date #firstdate #blinddate

Freestyle Love Supreme – Musical – Seattle Repertory Theatre

Freestyle Love Supreme improv hiphop musical at Seattle Rep. I kept wondering how much of the show was improvised & if there were audience plants. How can they create/think so fast? Color me impressed.

The Winter’s Tale – Musical – Seattle Repertory Theatre

“The Winter’s Tale” musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s play. Disappointed @SeattleRep produced this year’s performance as a film instead of a live show because of covid. But I’ll give them a pass for these trying times … and for the free annual ticket!

“The Children” play at Seattle Rep. Bizzare, random, & slow. Not a fan. Good acting though.
