An Octoroon – Play – ArtsWest Playhouse and Gallery

Opening weekend of the play An Octoroon. I think they were trying to be "edgy theatre" but ended up being just bizarre. They also did whiteface, blackface, & redface. Not sure what was the point of all the offensive depictions.

Seussical – Musical – Cornish Playhouse at Seattle Center

Watched the nonsensical Seussical the Musical. Not bad. My main request: if gender bending casting, make sure the actors don't sing an octave lower than the original parts. Or at least transpose the dang song! — attending Seussical at Cornish Playhouse At Seattle Center.
