Front row in the last, sold-out performance of “A Civil War Christmas” musical, which was basically a civil war version of “Love Actually.” Old-timey 1800s American historical fiction isn’t my favorite genre … but it was alright. ‘murica y’all!
After waiting 2 hrs for standby tickets (for the 2nd time), I finally got matinee seats to the sold out musical stage adaptation of Howl’s Moving Castle. So worth it! Such an intricate story. Watched Elf: The Musical. Closest I’ve ever sat at Paramount Theatre! Coming from a guy who tends to like superficial musicals, I thought the writing could use more substance (but what do you expect from an xmas-themed show).
