Little Shop of Horrors – Musical – Shoreline Community College

Watched the Little Shop of Horrors musical. The main characters were uniquely portrayed by puppets (like in Avenue Q). Sadly, the urchin ensemble desperately lacked its characteristic soul music quality.

Three Days of Rain – Play – Slate Theatre

Watched the — Watched the “Three Days of Rain” play on a very fitting rainy Seattle night. Angsty and full of pompous literary snobery. Really great actors though.

Native Gardens – Play – Intiman Theatre

Last performance of the play — Last performance of the play “Native Gardens.” Immigrant & WASP neighbors clash over world views & property borders. Great lawyerly argument/debate dialogue. But the conflict was wrapped up too neatly in the end.

Watched The Good Woman of Setzuan play. It's hard to be good. Also love is blind, irrational, and reckless! The Witching Hour – Dinner Theatre – Cafe Nordo

Dinner theatre featuring — Dinner theatre featuring “The Witching Hour” play. Was like watching a confusing Halloween Charmed episode with a wine flight & too little food. My Seventh Day Adventist side was glad they didn’t bust out a wiccan ouija board! ?
