Elevator Thoughts (aka Tweet): Ghost Train play at Centerstage Theatre. Great scary show for Halloween. So much chilling anticipation. Wished the dreadful crabby ole spinster had more lines. Unexpected ending reminiscent of Scooby Doo. #spooky #theatre
Type: Play
Recommendation: See it if you like scary theatre with limited number of scenes.
Rating (Out of 5 Stars): 4 stars

Elevator Thoughts (aka Tweet): “The Foreigner” play w/ As If Theatre Company at Kenmore Community Club. Intriguing accents. The backwoods American caricatures made me thankful I left the South. But the cute innocent simpleton & the Southern old woman were so endearing. #reinvention #theatre
Type: Play
Recommendation: See it if you like community theatre.
Rating (Out of 5 Stars): 4.25 stars
Other Rant(s)
What a strange second half of the second act!
Other Thought(s)
Pretty uncomfortably shocking decision to wear KKK costumes on the stage but I guess it was integral to the conflict resolution. Similar to how the “Sound of Music” displays the Nazi flag.

Elevator Pitch/Thoughts/Tweet: “What the Constitution Means to Me” at Seattle Rep. Intellectually stimulating mashup between a TED Talk, play, & debate. Appreciate the free ACLU book of rights. The 4th wall was broken. Abolish or keep the constitution? #speech #USA #UnitedStates #penumbra #theatre #feminism
Type: Play-ish Show/Talk
Recommendation: See it if you like TED Talks, debates, law, or feminism. Don’t see it if you’re looking for a play with a plot.
Rating (Out of 5 Stars): 4 stars
Other Rants
There were a lot of random tangents but I guess they were required for comic relief.

Elevator Pitch/Thoughts/Tweet: “Swimming While Drowning” play at ArtsWest. Delightful funny repartee between runaway teenagers that are total opposites rooming together at a gay homeless shelter. Sweet innocent bed scene. What was the address at the end? #poetry #lgbt
Type: Play
Recommendation: See it if you like plays with only 2 actors and plays that are mostly dialogue. I usually don’t but this wasn’t bad.
