Village Theatre’s last performance of Disney’s “Freaky Friday” stage musical adaptation. Typical generic feel of a made-for-tv movie on the Disney Channel. Good songs and harmony though.
Watched “Matilda the Musical” – based on Roald Dahl’s book. Takes me back to elementary! Too kid-friendly though … but figured I shouldn’t let my season ticket go to waste. Great quality like the national tour.
Slow theater weekend in Seattle so I decided to watch “The Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes” again on its closing weekend. Third row this time (instead of last row)! Much better seeing the actors up close. 🙂
Watched “The Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes.” A regular guy’s life turns into a musical (aka my-dream-come-true). Incredible talent and set but plot was kinda lacking.
Watched Shrek the Musical. The actress that played the dragon was out of this world! Funny how they made Little Red Riding Hood’s wolf a cross dresser.
